Top 10 Selection Criteria
To be considered,
startups must:
Be a tech-enabled, product-based company
Be incorporated and headquartered in Calgary
Demonstrate traction (e.g., revenue, active users, MRR)
Have over 50% of the team in Calgary
Have a product in market
Be under 4 years old
Our Selection Committee is made up of community leaders, Launch Party alumni, and local ecosystem partners who know first-hand the dedication it takes to build a business from the ground up. They are looking for founders whose resilience echoes the spirit of our city, and whose companies are solving real, tangible problems for the people and industries that drive Calgary forward.
